"Doing Business in Mexico
Ten Reasons - mas o menos – Why Mexico is the Place to Go Now"
Presented by Dykema Gossett PLLC

Beginning in the 1990's Mexico lost favor as a place to locate automotive operations as OEMs and suppliers rushed to expand their operations in Asia driven both by the boom in vehicle production in Thailand, China and India and by their search for low cost sourcing to be able to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive automotive markets in Europe and North America.

It is worthwhile to take another look at the opportunities in Mexico can provide for suppliers today and discuss the changing environment suppliers will face in the future.

Topics to be discussed in this one hour webinar will include:

      • Mexico 's investment environment
      • NAFTA and other trade agreements
      • A comparison of Mexico with China and India as places to do business
      • An overview of recent legal developments in Mexico
      • Additional factors to consider when making the decision to locate a new operation
